Who is making that beautiful tinkling song?

Birds are more often heard than seen - come and learn to know what it means.

Would you like to understand the 5 voices of birds and their behaviour?

Bird song and calls can be very confusing...
  • what bird is making what sound and why?
  • why is the bird flying that way?
  • what does it mean if those birds are on the ground?
By learning to identify the 5 main voices of birds we can rise above the confusion of individual species calls and understand the general soundscape and learn to read the language of nature more deeply.

Blackbirds are excellent teachers

There are 4 male blackbirds in these trees.
What are they doing?
What can we learn from this picture?

Feel at home - become the mindful native

Understanding bird language and behaviour can not only be incredibly useful for spotting wildlife, and helpful when playing sneaking games;-) ... it is also a wonderful doorway to mindfulness.

With your senses awakened to the moment, the healing power of being present and the vibration of birdsong can be very uplifting enlightening... as well as helping you feel more at home in your mind, body and spirit.

By knowing more of what is going on around you as you walk, you can be curious, awake, and native in your relationship with the landscape.

By returning to our senses we really can re-connect with the natural world, within and without... and ALSO apply this to the settings and organisations we work within, hopefully for the greater good of all.
